It is the flu.  It will be slightly worse than the seasonal flu, as far as we can tell at this stage.  the issue will be for companies that they might have workers not able to come to work, so they should plan.  as with all flus, there is likely to be some people that won't do so well.  However, there is tamiflu and soon there will be vaccines for the most at-risk people.

The unusual thing as far as I can see is the low numbers of Irish people that have been diagnosed.  It is unbelievably low.</description>
